ADMISSION PROCEDURE
We at Waghe International Film & Television Acadmey (WIFTA) vigilantly select the candidates to create new rank of talents. Admissions are currently open for upcoming next batches of certificate courses.
Students of special physical and mental challenges will be suitable to apply as long as the other criteria are fulfilled. Student applying from outside India are advised to apply at least four months earlier to the start of their preferred course to ensure student visa are issued in time. Each course requires precise tasks to be completed as component of the selection process. Each WIFTA’s course has its own detailed entry requirements. Admission Procedure
- Selection of Course –
– Student’s first step is to decide the course he would like to apply to study.
- Entrance Exam/Test –
– For admission, student will have to pass in entrance test of WIFTA.
- Interview –
– After passing entrance test student will have to pass Interview also for admission.

- Fill all application forms & submit in given period of time by submitting related documents & certificates with course fees at WIFTA’s office.
BANK ACCOUNT – PAY FEES
The fees are payable in any one of the following methods:
Payment through Bank Account
The student can deposit the fees to the nearest Bank of India branch by way of cash, cheque or NEFT or RTGS or demand draft in following account and student needs to submit the copy of the payment receipt to the Institute.
Payment through Demand Draft
The Student can pay by making a demand draft in favor of “Waghe Media Industries” payable at Bombay and submit at the time of admission.

ENTTRANCE EXAM & INTERVIEW
Syllabus For Entrance Test / Interview:
General Knowledge/basic information about Cinema, Filmmaking, Media, literature, History of film/World Cinema, Notable person information in filmmaking nationally & Internationally, base on basic knowledge about society, culture, art, science, politics and history, current media & entertainment sector updates, your aim and vision, mental, creative & specific area aptitude, selected course related questions and overall general knowledge in objective & theoretical.
Entrance Exam & Interview:
Examination Types – Written
Mark – 100
Time – 3 Hrs
Interview Time – 30 Minutes/Half Hrs
Medium of Questions: English, Hindi & Marathi
Examination/Test Rules:
- Application Forms, Examination (Entrance Test) and Interview fees INR 100/-(Inclusive Service Tax/non-refundable) should be paid in advance in account section of the institute.
- The cut off marks in written examination for the candidates is 35%. After passing examination candidates will be call for Interview. For admission, Candidate should pass interview also.
- Once student have presented themselves for an examination, they must write that exam and submit all written work sheets and question paper to the invigilator before leaving.
- Students are not permitted to enter the exam place if they arrive more than 30 minutes after the advertised time. Students are not permitted to leave the exam hall/place until 30 minutes have elapsed from the start of exam time.
- Students are not permitted to have in their possession any unauthorised items such as cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, PDAs and other web-access devices during an examination.
- Answering mobile phones or sending and receiving text messages is considered as cheating during an examination.
- It is the responsibility of the students to check the date, time and venue of the examinations/Interview after getting you admission card/hall ticket.
- Eligible candidates may collect their Admission/Hall Ticket from the office of the Institute or demand online on mail.
- Candidates who are undoubtedly suffering from infectious diseases of any kind shall not be admitted to the examination hall/place.
- Before proceeding to answer the paper, the candidate should write his / her enrollment number, receipt number, course name & question paper codes, date of the examination on the answer paper.
- Strict silence should be maintained in the examination hall/place.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates seeking admission for courses should be above 16 years of age. They must hold a Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent. This requirement may be waived in exceptional circumstance. Applicants should be fairly proficient in written and spoken Hindi or English or Marathi. Candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission, even if he/she is provisionally selected for admission by mistake.
REFUNDS POLICY
Rules for fees and refunds:
- Course fees once paid are non-refundable.
- Fees are to be paid by students in ONE installment.
– 100% Fees at time taking admission
- International students also will be required to pay the full course fees at the time of admission. Only upon payment of full fees, Waghe International Film & Television Academy will issue the fee receipt, the Bonafide Student Certificate and the invitation letter for issuance of Visa.
- For the online certificate course in Screenwriting’s admission will be confirmed only after all documents are verified and course fees are paid.
- All installments are payable on or before the last date for the same as may be announced from time to time.
- All amounts are listed in Indian rupees. The same amount are payable by both Indian and International students.
- Following lapses/delays in payment will attract a penalty of Rs. 500/- per day:
– Delay in Fee Payment on due date.
– In case of each act of cheque bouncing/dishonour of cheque.
- Occasionally there maybe additional required classes added to the standard curriculum, which may be mandatory. However, no extra fees will be charged for the same.
- All payments made by Indian nationals must be accompanied by the Permanent Account Number (PAN) of the payee, without which fees will not be accepted.
- Tax as applicable would be additional on all payments made to WIFTA. Further, any additional taxes if levied by the government / taxation authorities, the same would need to be borne by the students. Appropriate intimation of the same would be given to students.
- Excessively delayed fee payments may be cause for denying the student from attending the classes/practical till all outstanding dues are paid by the student.
- Any part of Tax will not be refunded.
FINANCIAL AID/ASSISTANCE
WIFTA will facilitate loans from the banks or other private financial institutions for selected student. The educational loan may be provided by banks or other financial institutions with usual pay back terms. WIFTA will only facilitate the loan but terms & conditions and other requirement will be laid down by the respective banks or other financial institutions.
All selected students have to pay admission fee & tuition fee as per installments determined before the commencement of the course even if they are not able to procure the bank loan or financial institution in time.
